'Partnership & Enterprise’ is a well-established annual networking event on the Local Enterprise Week programme for small / micro enterprises and self-employed. The event is a collaboration between LEO Cork City, Cork City Partnership and Department of Social Protection. At this year’s event, the three agencies will outline the supports available to anyone interested in setting up their own small business. Two former clients of Cork City Partnership will present their experience of becoming self-employed and the supports they received as their business grew and developed. This will be followed by Q&As and an informal networking session

Hilda Ekop - Royalty Consulting
Royalty Consulting is a specialist cleaning and maintenance business providing a bespoke service to schools, offices, and business owners. Hilda started this business with a small investment and a strong focus on environmentally friendly principles. The company has developed and how employs a staff of 5 people. Hilda has a background in retail and customer service and was awarded an MSc in Business Economics from the University College Cork.
Kevin O'Brien - SimpleSites.ie
Kevin graduated with a degree in Music and Media Technology from the University of Limerick where he studied web design and development. He worked in this sector for several years and has a deep understanding of social media and digital marketing. After identifying a business opportunity, Kevin founded "SimpleSites.ie" in 2022. His company provides a digital web design service that specialising in getting small and medium enterprises online with an e-Commerce focus.
