Pre-requisites
Participants should bring their smartphones to this course to be able to participate in the practical elements. All participants must have an existing Instagram account to be able to create a Threads account. Download the Threads app prior to the course.
Objectives
This course will give all participants the skills and tools to be able to use Instagram Threads effectively in their business.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the training each participant will:
- Have set up a Threads account (an Instagram account is required to be able to create a Threads account)
- Know what Threads is and how it differs to other social media channels
- Know how to publish threads and create a robust Threads network.

- Creating a Threads account and completing your profile.
- Features: a walk through all key Threads features. Hands-on experience using some of them on the day.
- For You and Following Feeds – how they work
- Threads vs. Twitter: the similarities and differences. When to choose one over the other.
- Case Studies – how other businesses/organisations are succeeding on Threads
